A born and bred South Walian, Hannah grew up amongst beautiful beaches, Tom Jones ballads and lots of sheep. Always found with a book in her hand, she had big plans (aged seven) to write the next Harry Potter novel.
Having obtained a joint degree in English Literature and Language from Cardiff University (still no sign of that elusive Harry Potter book though), Hannah worked for several years in a publishing house, assisting budding authors throughout the editorial process and ensuring smooth running of operations.
Eventually deciding she was sick of Chippy Lane weekend scenes and wet Welsh weather, Hannah took a one-way ticket to Madrid. A bold move, considering she didn't know anyone there, didn't have a job lined up and - most crucially - didn't speak Spanish.
Upon learning 'una cerveza por favor' on her very first day, however, Hannah was accepted as a bona fide Madrilena. During her two year stint in Spain, she improved business professionals' English one phrasal verb at a time, before deciding to move back home and hone her skills in PR, which has seen her wind up at Pic as a very capable Account Executive.
