The Need

Tregenna Castle Resort, a 72-acre estate overlooking the stunning St.Ives Bay, has a hotel with 81 bedrooms as well as 71 self-catering properties. With gym facilities, its own childcare facility, beauty rooms, a golf course and stunning pavilion for weddings – it truly offers it all.

Tregenna came to Pic PR with the aim to expand its exposure within the wedding market and position itself as an affordable wedding venue. It also wanted to build up rapport with wedding publications and online news portals.

Whilst building up national rapport, Tregenna was keen to build a strong relationship with local media. This would mean supporting its marketing in terms of promoting offers and promotions for the local audience.

The Solution

Pic PR suggested a full-on campaign that would be fuelled by press activity, mostly press releases and press stays as well as digital PR.

Journalists from key wedding media both online and offline were targeted with feature article ideas as well as the opportunity to stay and review the resort.

Local journalists were also targeted with press releases highlighting any relevant offers, events and news.

Pic PR also provided creative tactic ideas for PR campaigns every month.
