Casa Cook is a collection of boutique beach resorts with a global reputation – and it was seeking to strengthen this international presence while driving engagement through a strategic influencer marketing programme and a PR campaign through journalists (the original influencers). The goal was to generate meaningful exposure, increase brand awareness and grow the collective’s social media following with a highly targeted audience.
Underpinning this was a desire to seek investors' interest in a possible takeover.
To maximise reach and impact, we implemented a combined strategy that leveraged both social media influencers and traditional press coverage. This approach ensured that Casa Cook was positioned as a leading lifestyle hotel brand, appealing to both digital-native audiences and traditional media consumers.
A key element of the campaign was a collaboration with Jamie Genevieve, a high-profile influencer with 1.3 million Instagram followers. Her stay at Casa Cook generated authentic, high-quality content that resonated with her engaged audience, reinforcing the brand’s positioning as a luxury, experience-driven destination. Other major social media influencers were also involved (all having between 300,000 - 1 million followers each).
In addition to social media, we also secured extensive global press coverage in leading travel and lifestyle publications. This included 110 pieces of coverage across international and national media, featuring Casa Cook in Conde Nast, The Sydney Morning Herald, The Washington Post, The Independent, The Times, and Good Housekeeping, among others.

By combining digital influence with high-profile editorial coverage, the campaign delivered substantial brand visibility and audience engagement, successfully elevating Casa Cook’s presence in key target markets.
On top of this – and a key part of our objective – was to help position the brand appropriately to facilitate a takeover. This saw Casa Cook successfully acquired by Goldman Sachs Asset Management, with our marketing efforts helping to tee up a favourable commercial deal thanks to positive metrics that underlined the strength of the brand.
