The Surrey Care Association is one of the UK’s largest regional care associations and supports the needs of more than 400 members, which includes some of Surrey’s leading care providers.
The association turned to us for help to deliver a virtual celebration of care event, that was set to be an hour-long tribute to carers in Surrey, thanking them for the outstanding work they'd delivered throughout the pandemic.
Consisting of a mixture of videos submitted by care teams from across the county, interspersed with tributes from celebrities and videos of thanks from members of the SCA’s board – the likes of Piers Morgan, David Walliams, Charlotte Hawkins, Andi Peters and more submitted supportive contributions.
Pic PR was tasked with sourcing the celebrity input, while also structuring, editing and animating the entire production.
Designed to provide a boost to carers following an enormously challenging time, feedback from the event was universally positive, with carers throughout Surrey expressing great pride in the work they had undertaken while also praising the endeavours of the SCA in pulling the event together.
Given the success of our efforts, the SCA tasked us with producing a repeat event for 2021, which was delivered to further acclaim.
