Wellchild and Prince Harry

We work with WellChild, the national charity for sick children, and also our charity of the year. It’s a cause that’s close to our hearts and it’s one we’ll be supporting across various initiatives throughout 2026.

The first of these though is the WellChild awards, which seek to celebrate inspirational children, their parents, siblings and carers. And last week – we shouted about the fact they were open for nominations.

Now, we’re very fortunate that WellChild’s patron is Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex. This gives us some significant clout – especially when he’s willing to pull together a video imploring people to nominate worthy individuals.

It’s not every campaign that enjoys exclusive input from a member of the Royal family and it’s fair to say it gave us a fantastic footing to go to press with – which subsequently saw us secure dozens of pieces of press coverage throughout national and international media.

The first of which was with Hello Magazine, who had an exclusive heads up on publishing the video. But once that was out there and live on their channels we then launched into a much larger press sell-in.

Securing coverage via the likes of the Mail Online, the Mirror Online, the Sun, the Daily Express, GB News, LBC, AOL, the Daily Record and many more. International coverage also included the likes of People magazine and Instyle.

But once that was out there and live on their channels we then launched into a much larger press sell-in.

With a video exclusive from a member of the Royal family certainly making a difference, the WellChild awards were front and centre in the story – helping to put them in front of an audience of millions and giving them a great chance of success.

And that’s our Pic of the Week!
