We work with Nellsar Care Homes, a care home group with Homes across Kent, Surrey and Essex.
And with Wimbledon in full swing and tennis fever gripping the nation, we noticed how they were spreading the tournament spirit amongst their residents.
First launched back in 2022, the annual tennis party at Abbotsleigh Care Home has become a much-loved tradition in Nellsar's calendar.
And this year it grew even bigger. Abbotsleigh welcomed residents and team members from three of its Sister Homes - Lukestone Care Home, Loose Valley Care Home and Lulworth House Residential Care Home - to join the celebrations.
So with residents, relatives, volunteers and colleagues all coming together, the afternoon had a wonderful buzz about it.
Live matches from Wimbledon were shown on a large screen, while guests enjoyed tennis-themed games and activities. Then came a barbecue lunch cooked by the chefs, washed down with Pimm's, wine and beer, followed by the ultimate Wimbledon favourite - strawberries and cream.
A real highlight was the visit from professional tennis player and coach Matteo Weber, who joined guests, team members and even some residents for friendly matches after lunch. Residents and their loved ones watched on as players took to the court.
Nellsar was also delighted to welcome Weald of Kent MP Katie Lam and her assistant, Andrew. Katie spent time enjoying the event and even joined Nellsar Managing Director Martin Barrett for a friendly game.
And to capture it all, KMTV spent the day filming different parts of the party.
A brilliant way to bring people together and put a smile on faces, whilst shining a real spotlight on life at Nellsar.
And that's our Pic of the Week!
