Pics of the year

January 07, 2026 By Pic PR 1 minute read

It’s the first week of the year back in the office, and before we get cracking on the creative in earnest, we’re celebrating our Pic of the week highlights for 2025…

So, what have we got?

At number 3 we have Venelle and its Christmas book “Granny’s Coming Home for Christmas.”

The book was a collaboration between high-end homecare provider Venelle and a local illustrator, which saw us create a book that wove advice on how to get your home ready for the visits of older relatives over Christmas around a story built on a central character of Dolly the Dachshund.

The initiative saw Louise, Venelle’s CEO, founder and owner of the real life Dolly, interviewed on Sky News and Radio 4’s Women’s Hour. Offering some heartwarming storytelling and useful advice, it raised the profile of the care brand in front of prime audiences.

And at number two…

Was our work for White Ribbon UK, which saw its Portraits campaign, featuring 16 male ambassadors willing to speak up for women and girls, pose for special portraits in an art exhibition, securing almost 80 pieces of coverage via the likes of the BBC, ITV, Metro, The Sun and more.

But number one was our Butterfly Resort for Horwood House,

Inspired by Butterfly Conservation announcing a butterfly emergency with numbers in serious decline, we orchestrated local schoolchildren to decorate a number of butterfly houses, which we then arranged to be constructed into a full-on butterfly resort in a nod to the Horwood’s hospitality offering.

Featuring on ITV’s This Morning as well as in The Times and a wealth of regional media with more than 50 pieces of coverage in total, the initiative underlined the hotel’s sustainable approach – a big deal in the world of corporate bookings – while highlighting a pressing environmental issue.

And those are our Pics of the Year!
