National Garlic Day

We work with Zyliss, the cleverly Swiss kitchenware brand behind many a kitchen invention.

And one of its standouts is the original garlic press – which was modelled on the principle of a bicycle’s handlebar brake.

Given this, every year they want to celebrate National Garlic Day, and this year especially so, as it coincided with the launch of their latest version of the garlic press – the Susi 4.

To highlight this, we helped organise an influencer event at Divertimenti Cookery school in London.

This saw Tara Acton, an award-winning private vegan chef do a cook-along with a group of foodie influencers who all shared content to a combined audience of more than a million – focusing on the garlic galette recipe that Tara was preparing, and featuring the Susi 4 garlic press.

In support of this, Tara also did a series of collaborative posts on her own social channels, including a product giveaway and a reel of her galette recipe, which was published on National Garlic Day for people to cook-along to at home.

On top of this, we also did a survey into the UK’s garlic habits, which secured multiple pieces of press coverage including, the Good Curry Guide and Housewares Magazine – with iNews also set to use the data.

Furthermore, a Zyliss product push alongside all this activity saw its latest nonstick frying pan feature in the Independent – benefitting from the concerted press outreach.

So, that was a lot of noise generated then, at a pivotal time of year.
