Do you remember the time?

Care homes are full of characters.
 
And this week’s Pic of the Week shares a trio of them.
 
We work with Macc Care, a high-end homecare group with homes across the Midlands.
 
With the three care residents having displayed great banter in reminiscence sessions, the team at the home were keen to take this further.
 
And this subsequently evolved into the launch of a dedicated podcast called “Do you remember the time?” where the three are set to discuss topics like relationships, growing older and changing the world. 
 
Not having even heard of a podcast before it was a novel concept for the care residents, which meant its launch was also a novel concept for the media.

It also generated further local coverage via the likes of the Express & Star – a key publication for the home.
 
Then, on top of this, Mauren, Ann and Doreen went live on air with Good Morning Britain to speak to hosts Richard Madeley and Susanna Reid about their new podcast.
 
The interview was fantastic with the care residents all praising their lives at the home – resulting in PR gold for Sutton Rose and the wider Macc Care group.
