Armchair Cruise

We work with Kent-based care home group, Nellsar.

In recent weeks, they’ve been taking their residents on a virtual cruise, stopping at destinations around the world.

And the last leg of the trip was an Australian-themed armchair adventure with colourful decorations and accessories crafted by residents, as well as Australian themed dishes cooked up to provide extra sensory impact.

A lovely heartwarming initiative that gives residents’ a sense of adventure with some eye-catching pictures alongside .we helped shout about this to press.

Doing so subsequently saw the homes’ endeavours feature on Good Morning Britain – with the TV show highlighting them as part of a feel-good regional news round-up.

One of the best ways to show off care home culture is to highlight resident activities. And by adding a novel spin in the form of a virtual cruise it was enough to secure some prime broadcast coverage.
