Head Chef Thomas Law is a 2 Michelin star trained chef with experience in some of the best kitchens in New York, Australia and the UK. To drive footfall this winter and create a new revenue stream for the restaurant, we helped cook up the idea of a Prithvi cookbook, showcasing their top dishes from the past 12 years.
With publishers onboard, we got to work on the pre-sales marketing. We wrote the content for the book, added QR codes to restaurant receipts for easy pre-orders, and offered a £20 voucher for the first 50 books sold—bringing in nearly £3k worth of preorders in just one week.
On social, a competition sent their stats soaring—Instagram followers up 191%, Facebook engagement up 236%, and a single post pulling in 616 comments and over 13,000 views.
Local media loved it too, with features in SoGlos, Gloucestershire Live, and interviews on BBC Gloucestershire.
Next up? A VIP launch event in January to celebrate the campaign and take it to the next level.
