Looking to host a record-breaking event? Here's how we do it...

Large scale events are a huge investment, and, when hosting them, you really want them to pay off.

Marketing them properly is key.

If you’ve got any events on the horizon, large scale, or even small, we can help you really drum up interest and encourage attendance.

Not only that, we can capture and convey what happens on the day – helping you improve on it the next year, should you be looking to do it again.

To give you a flavour as to how it can work, here’s a quick example where we have made a difference.

We’ve worked with HOSPA, the Hospitality Professionals Association for several years now, and each year we help them with their annual HOSPACE conference.

A big deal in the world of hospitality, it sees key players and leading industry figures come together to deliver informative content and guidance, helping educate others on key trends and best practice.

And for 2022, it enjoyed a record-breaking attendance with its most successful event to date.

We supported with the full range of our services including PR, video, photography, copy and design.

Ahead of it, our design team helped pull together all supporting assets, from social graphics, to newsletters, with our copy team producing the words, and our social team doing the posting. All of this was supplemented by the imagery and video that our pictures team had captured at previous events.

Our video team also hit the road in advance of the event, producing videos to support the HOSPACE awards, which are a central part of the day. Capturing interviews with those who’d been shortlisted, they added to the clamour around it by producing interview footage to help build anticipation – with the content shared via social media and HOSPA e-shots.

Alongside the above, our PR team also played a big part, helping to promote the event in leading trade publications. This generated some great coverage, such as this preview in Boutique Hotelier, a key target, while, post-event, we achieved further coverage from journalists we’d invited to attend, which included The Caterer – the main hospitality title.

Commenting on our involvement, Jane Pendlebury, CEO of the Hospitality Professionals Association, said about Pic PR:

“You really do feel like an extension of our team, which is what everyone strives for, but few rarely achieve. The press coverage we have received has been amazing and the support for HOSPACE incredible.”

It's great to hear when clients are pleased – and Jane was delighted.

Want us to try and achieve the same for you? We’d be delighted to do so – so get in touch.
