We work with DUKES London, a high-end hotel in the heart of Mayfair. DUKES is big on dogs and even has its own dachshund mascot, DUKESY. With August 26th marking International Dog Day, we wanted to promote DUKES’ dog friendly offering throughout the month – which includes dog sitting, dog walking, dog grooming, dog beds and more. And to do so, we turned to influencers. Now, dog influencers are a big thing with a very engaged community, and they offer the potential to reach millions of followers across multiple social platforms. So, using our powers of persuasion and no extra budget we looked to bring in some key dog-focused accounts. The first one was the Daxie Trouble, which has more than 300,000 followers focused on 4 dachshund dogs – and couldn’t be more perfect for DUKES. With multiple posts capturing the dogs within the hotel, as well as across quintessential London landmarks the content went down a storm. But, not resting there, we also brought in other dog influencers including the likes of the Luxury Explorer with almost 200,000 TikTok followers And Pizza the Queen, another dachshund account with 370,000 followers – which all served to really make a splash across dog loving social channels. These coincided with other big hitting influencer accounts visiting throughout August too – a peak time for holidays and breaks away.
