How to gain masses of positive PR exposure.

April 08, 2021 By PIC PR Less than a minute read

The key is being people focused. Being topical. Being timely.

Just before the Easter bank holiday weekend, on behalf of our client (CHD Living), we hooked up with a company called Incredible Eggs. We sent 'hatching kits' to residents living in CHD care homes.

The eggs hatched in a few days (we knew they would), and we took plenty of photos of the chicks and the residents. We then worked up news stories weaving in a wellbeing angle (something very topical at the moment – we named CHD staff 'wellbeing angels') and sent it to press. The press loved it, and so did social media.

This story was covered by 221 media outlets – across national, regional & trade press, meaning it reached a wide range of audiences. Highlights included Evening Standard, Country Living, Heart, Mail Online and Tyla

Tyla shouted about it on their social channels too. Just one Facebook post of theirs received 1.6k reactions, 652 comments and 113 shares.

Alongside this, the story was all over radio as well, including BBC Radio London

We do this week in and week out for our clients.
