How To Attract Top Tier Press Stays

February 12th 2024 By Pic PR 1 minute read

Are you looking to get top tier press stays to your hotel?
If not, it should definitely be something you’re considering – as they can have a huge impact on both brand awareness and bookings.
Not only do they tend to put you in front of a large audience, but they also underline the quality of your offering, emphasising you as a destination of note.
Furthermore, you can use them in wider marketing – showcasing the positive review.
To give you an idea of how this can work, here’s a quick example of how we secured an opportunity with Forbes Magazine for our client Billesley Manor, a luxury hotel and former Shakespearean Manor House within easy reach of Stratford upon Avon.
The hotel’s rich history makes it a perfect destination for the wealthy US travel market, so we asked the team at Billesley Manor what the ideal publication they'd like to feature in would be.
Forbes was top of their list. So, we made it our mission to deliver.
Reaching out to our contacts at Forbes, we invited them to come and take a look inside the property to discover the wealth of history behind it.
This saw us arrange a press trip with a Forbes’ travel writer, where they came to stay at the hotel and undertake a full review.

The subsequent online article looked at the hotel in depth, with a general overview that also highlighted multiple individual aspects of its offering.
This meant that, alongside its general brand awareness, the article also included multiple links within it, highlighting Billesley Manor’s spa, restaurant and even its room type pages – which is all great for SEO.
Forbes is one of the most respected business publications in the world, with a huge global reach and a high-end demographic.
Its audience is prime for Billesley Manor which is looking to raise its profile internationally.
The team at the hotel were delighted with the result.
