Getting International Coverage To Attract An international Market

One thing about hospitality and tourism is that many of your guests come from overseas.

And the good thing about that is many of those overseas visitors have money to spend – so they’re often a good guest to attract.

But how do you go about doing that and getting in front of them?

Well, PR can help.

Here’s a quick example.

We work with Storied Collection, a brand that seeks to introduce people to heritage properties across the UK and Ireland with a view to exclusive use bookings.

The main crux of Storied Collection is the history behind the properties as they look to highlight this aspect while encouraging people to visit – and potentially explore their own personal lineage too.

Millions of people around the world are often unknowingly descended from aristocracy, with many a stately home amongst their forebears’ former residences – and the team at Storied believe there's a big potential to connect people with their ancestry as part of historic travel.

Given the enthusiasm for family history across the pond, the US market is a prime one for Storied Collection.

And, recently, they were given an excellent platform via CNBC.

CNBC is the world leader when it comes to business news, but it also has a thriving travel section – and it was one of its travel writers who spoke to Storied Collection’s CEO, Justin Hauge, to explore more about the concept.

Furthermore, CNBC has invited Justin on to one of its live shows to talk further, which is kind of a big deal!

To use Justin's words: “This is massive!" – which is great feedback to hear from a client.
