Clear PR waters for Storrs Hall

It’s situated amidst the stunning surroundings of the Lake District, on the banks of Lake Windermere, but the 4* Storrs Hall turned to Pic PR to help it rediscover one crucial, missing aspect – a digital presence.

The hotel has gone (and will continue to go) through quite a bit of change. There are plans for a refurbishment in place and for a spa to arrive in 2-3 years’ time. While occupancy rates are hitting around 80%, Storrs Hall is currently heavily reliant on OTAs.

Although the hotel had a focus on traditional press activity, the digital comms element was very much missing. With a new website in the pipeline, social media was managed in-house and there was no video.

Storrs Hall turned to Pic PR to help boost its digital offering, with a specific aim of increasing the number of wedding bookings for 2019, as well as promoting the hotel in The Lakes for leisure getaways and parties.
