Barnett Hill gives Pic PR a warm reception
It was a far from frosty meeting when Pic PR agreed to work with Iceland co-founder Peter Hinchcliffe and his wife, Deborah, on a communications plan to promote the recently refurbished Barnett Hill hotel.
One of four in the Alexander Hotels collection – a company founded by the couple – Barnett Hill was bought 18 months ago. Alongside the extensive refurbishment programme that’s been undertaken to date, there is also more work set to be carried out, which includes the introduction of a spa. Given the wide-ranging changes to the hotel, there was plenty to talk about from a PR perspective.
Despite having had some media review coverage in both the Telegraph and the Daily Mail, the couple turned to Pic PR, with its extensive experience in working with luxury hotels, to help raise their profile and position Barnett Hill as the go-to destination for leisure getaways, wedding and parties, as well as promoting the restaurant to a local audience.
David Barrett, MD at Pic PR, said: “Barnett Hill – along with the rest of the Alexander Group – is a truly stunning hotel so we’re looking forward to getting stuck in and helping to rightfully position it as one of the leading luxury venues in the UK. We’ve come up with an integrated and engaging communications campaign which we’re confident will help Barnett Hill reach its target audiences quickly.”
