Sarah started her career path as a regional journalist, working at the Worcester News for four years before transitioning into PR with a side of social – a career change that’s seen her find her natural groove over the past 10 years. Having worked across multiple agencies, Sarah’s experience is extensive. Previous FMCG clients include the likes of Bacofoil, Whitworths, Old Jamaica Ginger Beer, GoGoSqueez, Warner’s Distillery and more, while she’s also worked in travel, with multiple high-end hotels, in fashion with ALDO, and toys on the PLAYMOBIL account, as well as across haircare clients such as Regis and Supercuts. It’s fair to say then she’s able to apply her PR capabilities to all sorts of scenarios. Career highlights to date include working on the speed world record attempt (rumour has it she attempts it every morning on her commute down the M5), new toy product launches, openings and more as well as organising and hosting an event at the top of The Gherkin with prominent journalists in attendance such as the editor of The Grocer – while she also loves taking on crisis management and dealing with PR drama. Outside of work, Sarah loves travelling – but jaunts abroad have been curtailed of late thanks to parenting responsibilities for her daughter Poppy. In a previous life she was somewhat renowned as a party animal, but those days are behind her…until Beckfest and our Christmas parties come around and then it’s straight on the shots.
