Sarah is one of our sager PR heads at Pic PR, having spent several years at the coalface before joining us – including four years at a previous agency, and three years prior to that in an in-house marketing role. She actually hotfooted across from client to agency (when they’d previously been working for her!), so she’s very much a convert – and loves agency life.
Sarah’s background is visual communications, with a BA (Hons) in Illustration from Hereford College of Arts, as well as a couple of years as a Visual Merchandiser under her belt for some high street fashion brands. Given we’re ‘Pic’ PR it’s a background that certainly comes in handy.
Sarah’s PR skillset leans towards the technical, and she loves taking a seemingly complex topic and making it sound simple. Again, very much a handy skill in PR! Able to find the joy in anything, we try not to give Sarah all of our straightlaced clients – just maybe a good few.
Rumour has it, prior to having a baby, Sarah had hobbies, which included going to the gym/weight training, reading and watching movies. These days, it’s kind of similar, albeit lifting the baby to pump the guns, reading nursery rhymes of an evening, and watching episodes of Bluey. Who says having a baby changes you?
Favourite Pic Up Line (heard, but hopefully not used):
Are you a pen? Because I want to write my life's story with you.
