Lucie O'Shea

Social Media Assistant

Lucie is one of the social crew here at Pic PR, which sees her drafting and creating content for our clients’ various social channels.

Having secured a first-class degree in photography from Gloucestershire University, her eye for an image is amongst the best – and it’s a skill she puts to good use when choosing suitably beguiling imagery for our client posts.

During her time at Uni, Lucie helped establish a sound grounding in social media by running her course’s social pages, while she was also in charge of promoting the social platforms for The University of Gloucestershire's Degree Show 2022.

With Covid curtailing many an academic career, Lucie kept herself busy during lockdown by managing and curating a small online magazine to help creatives continue to showcase their artistic projects, while in 2021 she was also a creative content and project lead for The Vision Movement; a Canadian based non-profit organisation run by Canadian-Latina singer Aiona Santana. This saw Lucie as the face behind the screen for their Women's History Month 2021 campaign and Wednesday Wind-down News Reel.

Alongside the above, Lucie also runs her own Etsy shop selling her design work.

All of which goes to show, she’s very good at keeping herself busy.

And outside of her working life, Lucie deems herself to be a huge nerd as she’s able to talk your ears off about Marvel (both the films and the comics), the DC Extended Universe and Star Wars, while she’s also a massive Taylor Swift fan and, as a firm believer in their spiritual and aesthetic qualities, a huge sucker for crystals.

Finally, having done ballet, drama and singing lessons from a young age, she also (somewhat understandably given that background) loves a musical and will belt out West End classics on request.

Favourite Pic Up Line (heard, but hopefully not used):

What do you and me have in common with Wakanda? We're forever, baby!
