Liz Burns

A member of our PR team, Liz was born and bred in Gloucestershire (a proper local).

She's no stranger to working under pressure having spent most of her career so far working in both domestic abuse and sexual violence organisations. Finally putting the theory of her Sociology & Politics degree to practical use, she worked across front-line support, training, and communication roles.  

With a firm expertise in the violence against women sector, Liz decided it was time to branch out and broaden her career horizons, putting her well-earned skills to use.

Trying to change the world one word at a time, she has experience in writing both short and long-form copy with powerful brand voice and compelling content for public-sector and charitable organisations.

Ever the juggler of many-a-ball, Liz is also a Writer and Editor for a yoga website as well as a Yoga, Qigong, and Group Fitness Instructor - a testament to her impressive versatility! 

Liz feels most at home when she's banging aggressively on her keyboard (she says she's in the flow, but her boyfriend says she's interrupting the Liverpool game) or on her yoga mat. Though, if she has to leave the house (and her precious Netflix account), you can find her eating, drinking, hiking, gyming, and following her favourite yoga teachers around the world.
