Jack Scanlan

Jack is the most recent addition to our video/photography team. Although he has been here before. Having undertaken a stint of work experience two years ago, he’d not been able to get the utopia of the Pic PR offices out of his mind. “Is working at Pic PR the pinnacle of life?” he’d often find himself asking.

Unable to shake it, he applied for an opening in our video team – and here he is, smashing out top notch video projects, attending shoots, orchestrating kit, and just generally getting stuck in.

Still in the early stages of his career, Jack has an insatiable desire to improve and grow so he’s learning all things video alongside our more established team members. But the quality of his output is already high, helped by having a genuine passion for the trade, which has seen his photography published in leading surfing publications.

Outside of work he’s the adventurous type, with a love of surfing (hence the photos) and general sport (particularly football – he’s an Aston Villa fan*).

He also has a bit of an American vibe, being a big fan of country music (Zach Bryan on repeat) and the 49ers. And very occasionally he randomly yells “Yee-Haw” before waving an imaginary hat, whilst sitting at his desk in our studio. An interesting trait, but one that’s growing on us.

*Well, he said he’s a Villain, and we presume that’s what he meant.
