Chloe Tomalin

Senior Social Media Manager

Chloe is our Senior Social Media Manager, here at Pic. With more than 10 years’ experience of food and fashion marketing, her fringe hides a wise head that started out in the business world at the tender age of 14 – before launching a live retail space at 15, which made her the youngest shopkeeper in the UK (no joke, she has the press cuttings as proof!).

Educationally, this ingrained entrepreneurial nous saw her achieve a First-Class degree in Fashion and Marketing, along with an MA in Fashion Management with Marketing from the University of London.

From here, she jumped straight into business development and marketing roles, within the fashion and food sectors, specialising in macro and fashion trend forecasting, and social and visual communications. Highlights on her CV include launching H&M New Zealand as part of its expansion and training team, working on the Mayor of London’s entrepreneur programme, and teaching marketing functions in leading arts universities, including UCA, NTU and BCU.

Her core work interests include lifestyle social media marketing, and social media brand building, as well as personal and professional development.

Work aside, she’s a black coffee snob and a wannabe vegan somewhat hampered by her love of cheese, whilst she’s passionate about LGBTQIA issues and the representation of women with Asperger’s – issues close to her heart.

A scrapbooker and visual communicator Chloe’s workspace is adorned with post its and wall charts – picture it being a bit like William Morris, but if he only had access to a stationary cupboard. Needless to say, it makes for a colourful corner of the studio!

Favourite Pic Up Line (heard, but hopefully not used):

"I’d give you a poke and I’m not talking about Facebook."
